1 Rebar Configuration Catalog Numbers

The HOLD DOWN BAR is a simple, inexpensive, reliable device that prevents duct flotation during the concrete pour. Duct flotation is caused by duct bank buoyancy and concrete churning.

Caution: When using a Hold Down Bar that accomodates only one rebar you must be careful that the concrete does not hit one end of the hold down bar causing it to rotate and release the ducts. This rotation problem does not exist when using Hold Down Bars that accomodate two pieces of rebar.
