Hold Down Bar
The HOLD DOWN BAR is a simple, inexpensive, reliable device that prevents duct flotation during the concrete pour. Duct flotation is caused by duct bank buoyancy and concrete churning.
Hold Down Bar Ordering Information
Hold Down Bars are sized at the factory to fit the duct bank being installed. Depending upon the configuration, the Hold Down Bar is typically supplied to accommodate either one or two pieces of rebar to secure it over the duct bank during the concrete pour.
